Can I get admission in any good college through COMEDK? I have applied to LPU, Jalandhar.

Dear Ashish, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. In LPU, every programme has its own eligibility criteria, for example, if you want to take admission in B.Tech, then you must have a minimum of 60% marks in 12th and have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. For few programmes, you may get direct admission without any entrance such as B.A. BBA etc. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package available for Engineering programme is 42 lacs. Per annum by 2020 pass-out batch. For taking admission in LPU Jalandhar, as per my experience, LPU NEST is important to appear as it is a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme's test is applicable only for a scholarship. LPU NEST Test centres are now in 28 states, 9 Union Territories and also 200 major cities across the country but due to the rise in the daily cases of Covid-19 in different parts of the country, many state governments have put various restrictions to curb the spread of the virus. Considering the scenario of restricted movement and keeping the focus on the safety of the candidates, LPU has extended the option of the Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST exam from home. As an alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question as I have gone through the same process. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Also, there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps : 1 Register yourself on the portal 2. Fill the details 3. Choose the programme 4. Apply for LPUNEST 5. Make the payment for LPU NEST and Book the slot for the Exam I. e date and time for the exam as per your availability. 6. Appear and Qualify the LPU NEST and wait for Result 7. Participate in Online Counselling and Seat Allotment Process if applicable 8. After the seat allotment, proceed for Admissions.
