Can I get admission in any of the NITs? Which NIT should I try?

Asked about NIT Hamirpur - National Institute of Technology - Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.)

I have scored 182 marks in paper 2 but I had not cleared the cut-off of paper 1.

    Hey,
    Paper 2 rank will allow you to take admission in only B.Arch courses, which are for the architecture stream.
    Paper 1 rank will be used for admission in B.Tech and BE courses in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, mechanical, civil and all other branches of engineering. And the cut-off is just for those who have qualified for JEE Advanced. Even if you have not cleared the cut-off, you can get admission on the basis of JEE Mains.
