Can I get admission in B.Tech lateral entry even after having a gap of 1 year after completing Siploma in civil engineering?

I had completed Diploma in civil engineering with 7.9 CGPA in the year 2017. I had some backlogs to clear because of that I took 1 year gap.

Yes, you can take. I suggest you to choose Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana as it is the best for civil. They give admission on the basis of percentage.
