Can I get admission in B.Tech next with JEE Mains?

My son has given 12th (CBSE) this year & want to pursue B.Tech in CSE but his JEE Main results isn't good so I think he will not get admission in B.Tech. Can I admission in B.Sc in comp. science this year and can he appear for JEE Mains next year?

    B.Tech in CSE after 10+2 is a leading course. It is better to get him admitted in other engineering colleges for B.Tech CSE on basis of 10+2 score. B.Sc in Computer Science deals with science, not engineering.
    Not advisable.
