Can I get admission in Canada for further studies? Will my visa get accepted?
I had 12 backlogs in my BE mechanical engineering till 7th semester which all are clear now with 7.2 CGPA.

Hi, less likely to accepted with so many backlogs. Upto 5 is normally accepted. I will still encourage you to apply but also check other countries. Keep options open. Admissions to Canadian universities are very competitive.

Is there a chance of Canada but sure I will think about Australia. Is it possible in Australia in my case?
