Eligibility - 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognised Board / University / Council. That's the eligibility criteria of B.Com (Hons) if you don't have Maths still you can take admission in B.Com (Hons).

    These are the eligibility criteria of B.Com (Hons). of Calcutta University-
    Honours in Accounting & Finance-
    For General candidates, 55% marks in aggregate + 60% in Accountancy / Mathematics or in any related subject (see below). + Minimum 30% marks in Mathematics at the Secondary (Class X) level. For SC/ST- 40% in aggregate or 40% in Accountancy / Mathematics or in any related subject (see below).
    2. Honours in Marketing-
    For General- 50% in aggregate + 55% in Accountancy or Mathematics.
    For SC/ST- 40% in Accountancy or in any related subject.

    Yes, you can get admission in CU for B.Com (Hons.) without having Maths in class 12th. For B.Com (Hons.), you don't need to study class 12th Maths.

For all-India candidates, scores from either NEET or MHT-CET are accepted.

After the 2023-24 revised CBSE syllabus, many chapters have been removed, and in some chapters syllabus is reduced. As per the latest CBSE exam pattern 2025-26, the Chapter 1 Solutions will be asked for 5-7 marks in the Class 12 Chemistry CBSE board exams.
