Never Heard of such a case. Personally, I don't think that is possible because a college is not Sure if you have learnt enough to clear DTU first year from your Education in another college. There is just not enough on paper to prove that. An exception to this case is very hard to come by and not be possible without VC' intervention. Such a thing only happens in foreign exchange programs and I don't think the stay is permanent.
