Can I get admission in DTU for B.Tech with 73% in HSC and 60 marks in JEE Mains exam? Should I drop this year?

    It depends on the category with which you take admission in DTU i.e General, SC, ST, etc. If you are a general candidate then it is difficult for you to get admission this year. Please check this year's cutoffs for various branches.
    Dropping a year is entirely your decision, first check if you can get admission in any other college of your choice, if not, then you may drop and perform better next year. Make sure you make the final decision on your own and not on somebody else's advice or influence.

    See, if you are from general category then you can't be able to get admission in this college but if you are from SC/ST, then you might be if there are vacant seats in the spot round of the counselling.

    No, you cannot get admission in DTU because of 2 reasons. First is your board score, which is less than 75%. Second is you have not qualified JEE Mains. Getting just 60 marks shows that you are incapable of getting a good score in JEE Mains.
