Can I get admission in DU for M.A. English?

If you are in given this category then you will get admission. Mandatory Course: B.A. (Hons) English ) Eligibility in Entrance Category: Category 1: Candidates who have passed the mentioned course from University of Delhi, concerned qualifying examination of the University of Delhi or at least the same percentage of pass marks (as mentioned) (SC/ST/PWBD category? Minimum pass marks) at the qualifying examination as prescribed for the equivalent examination of University of Delhi are eligible. For those having CGPA under the CBCS programme the equivalence of marks will be as per University of Delhi rules. Category 2: Candidates who have passed Bachelor's Degree from a recognised Indian University with at least 50% for General Category and 45% for OBC and minimum pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD/CW categories are also eligible. For those having CGPA under the CBCS programme the equivalence of marks will be as per University of Delhi rules. Eligibility in Merit Category: Category 3: Candidates must have passed the mentioned course from University of Delhi with at least 60% marks in aggregate for General Category & 54% marks for OBC in B.A. (Hons. ). English and for SC/ST/PwBD/CW categories admissions in the order of merit till seats earmarked as reserved for these respective categories in direct admissions are filled up. For those having CGPA under the CBCS programme the equivalence of marks will be as per University of Delhi rules.
