Can I get admission in engineering on the basis of HSC marks?
HSC score: 59% in yr 2012.Also,I wanted to know about Integrated (BTech+MBA) and other integrated courses related to it.

Hi Sampada!
You can take admission into private institutes such as BITS, VIT, SRM, IP, Manipal that conduct their own entrance test.
Several universitites offer integrated courses such as B.Tech+M.Tech, B.Tech+MBA.
Amity, Manipal, DA-IICT are some of the best universities that offers integrated degrees.

In order to pursue engineering one must have Science (Physics / Chemistry / Maths / Biology or Economics or any other subject) in 10+2.
Students appear for different Engineering Entrance Exams like:
1. IIT - JEE
2. VITEEE
3. BITSAT
4. MU OET
5. SRMEEE
6. UPTU and many more at the state level and institute specific.
Students can choose from the different branches that are available for engineering. Every engineering branch has its own PROS. and it wont be right to judge any branch. However, if you want to know about the scope and prospects of various branch, you can refer to the below link
