On the basis of ur rank in JEE u will be elegible for getting admission in certain govt. colleges. There are certain good colleges/institute where on the basis of ur 12th marks u will be elegible for getting admission in certain private colleges and get good scholarships. For what course u are asking? if u r asking for B Tech course first of all it is essential that u must have get good rank in JEE exam. On the basis of ur rank in JEE u will be elegible for getting admission in certain top level institutes like IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, etc. u should regularly check
