As the college has now been converted into a fully residential university named HARCOURT BUTLER TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, its selection procedure will surely change from the year to come. As the sources say, it shall be taking admissions in its B.Tech programme through the JEE Mains. So wish u all the best
As per the latest notification issued by the university for the admissions to the Bachelors programmes of the university, the college would be inviting separate applications followed by fee submission, choice filling and allotment. For any further updates visit the official website of the university or simply visit the following link http

No, you can't as HBTI has become HBTU in 2017 and from then, it started taking admissions through the JEE Mains rank.

    Hello Gyan,
From this year, HBTU is taking admission via JEE Mains, not UPTU, so you need some good marks to get admission there. However for your probable colleges based on your upsee rank refer this link.
