Can I get admission in IIM if I score 80 percentile in CAT exam?

I failed in one subject in HSC. It took me 1-year to pass the subject.

Hi, Indian Institute of Managements expects 95 to 99.99 percentile in the CAT exam. With 80 percentile, you may not be able to get admission in IIMs. All the best.

For general category, all top 8 IIMs require minimum 95 percentile. Although, for new IIMs cutoffs can go low. You should work hard and get above 99 percentile in CAT exam.
