Can I get admission in IIT through good rank in SC category of JEE Advanced even if I failed in physics in class 12th board exams?

If you apply with JEE Main scores, CU primarily considers your JEE Main percentile / AIR for admission.

12th marks are generally secondary in this case — mostly used for eligibility criteria (like minimum 50–60% in PCM or aggregate, depending on branch).

High JEE scores can also qualify you for JEE-based scholarships at CU.

If you are appearing for +2 Exams/12th class in 2026, you may upload the qualifying marks before the deadline for BSc BEd, BA BEd and MScEd. Please note that the candidates who have not uploaded their qualifying marks will not be considered for CEE 2026 Rank Generation.

AIIMS is primarily a medical college/university (undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality, etc.) + a hospital. 

Its courses begin after Class 12 — i.e. you must have completed 12th standard (10+2) to be eligible for entry into courses like MBBS, B.Sc., etc. 

The official course list of AIIMS includes medical and allied health degrees — not school-level classes (11th / 12th) as per its academic catalogue.

Thus, AIIMS itself does not run 11th and 12th standard as a school.
