    Most of the time, admission into the B.Sc. Forensic Science program at the Institute of Forensic Science, Mumbai, is based on the marks obtained at HSC (12th) and other eligibility criteria for the course.

    As a rule of thumb, admission is based on a minimum percentage of 50% at HSC or equivalent examinations with subjects in Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics) related to it. It, therefore, remains almost completely dependent on the applicants and their final selection number of seats available.
