Hi there, as far as the Lovely Professional University is concerned, you can take direct admission, however, there are certain programs such as B Tech, and Hons programs in which you can get admission only if you qualify the entrance exam. Apart from that the programs such as BBA BCOMM, and B.A. Programs do not have mandatory entrance test as an eligibility, you can seek admission in these programs. However, you need to fulfil other eligibility conditions.

It entirely depends upon the programme you are seeking admission in as the eligibility criteria is programme specific. Moreover there are various programmes in LPU where you can take direct admission e. g BBA BCA B.Com B.A. Etc. Whereas for other programs qualifying LPU NEST is prime requisite.

Passing the exam is necessary if a particular programme's eligibility is based on LPU NEST qualifications. Besides that, LPU offers direct admission to a number of programs, including B.A. BCA B.Com B.A. , etc. Thus, for the courses which do not have an obligatory entrance test as an admission requirement, you can apply for those courses. Visit the website or the campus for further clarification.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a
