Hello Dear! It all depends on the course in which you want to get enroll. LPU provides more than 250 programmes and the eligibility criteria differ for every programme. There are many courses where LPU is providing 5% relaxation in eligibility to North-East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmir Migrants. The eligibility of most of the programs is 60% to require to pass out. With this most of the courses also require you to qualify for an eligibility test called LPU NEST. Well, here you have not mentioned the course or programme, which you are interested in. The eligibility of most of the programs is 60% to require to pass out. With this most of the courses also require you to qualify for an eligibility test called LPU NEST. But do not be disheartened, LPU offers 200+ programs. So you will be eligible for some of the programs. There are many courses where LPU is providing 5% relaxation in eligibility to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmir Migrants. Apart from that, there are many other courses with good career prospect, where eligibility if Pass or 50%. Lovely Professional University is always in my heart. I have spend some of the very memorable years of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. Below: The University offers more than 200+ Bachelor to Ph.D. Programmes in Apart from that Management, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Engineering, Architecture, Design, Commerce, Fashion Technology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Education, Physical Education, Films, Animation, Fine Arts, etc. You have not mentioned the course name in which you want to take admission. Eligibility for the various programme differs. 1) In some programmes eligibility is 50% like BCA B.Sc. (IT), etc. 2) Lpu have some relaxation of 3-5% for SC/OBC candidates, Defence personal dependant, sports personalKashmir migrants, sikkim applicants like that. LPU offers Professional Enhancement Programme so that students attain skills necessary for placement in the relevant field. At the same time, the university conducts mock placement drives to build self-confidence in students. LPU has a separate placement committee for each stream such as engineering, architecture, management, arts, sciences etc. Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. According to my knowledge in LPU or Lovely Professional University minimum 60% is required. It can be of any board. If you wish to join in any programmer you must Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) but minimum 50% for the management degree or programme, subject to qualification of LPU NEST (LPU Scholarship and Eligibility test examinations).

Hello Ankita, LPU becomes the best place to pursue your degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the official website of LPU, first choose the programme that you want to join and then its Eligibility criteria which is required to be qualified in order to take admission in that programme. LPU offers more than 200 programmes in different disciplines. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for the same. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. You can go for B.A. BCA BBA B.J. M. C. BHMT, and so on. The choice of LPU would be the best one for various reasons. The students get the updated curriculum meeting the industry requirements. LPU has different percentage criteria for different programmes. You may refer LPU website for qualification marks. A good teacher-student ratio would allow following the social distancing needed for the covid situation. LPU has taken great measures for the same.
