Can I get admission in LPU for any engineering branch? I have got a compartment in maths.

To my knowledge in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. LPU doesn't entertain comportment, so you may plan the admission in lower programme. I also heard that LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship 3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc. 4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. 5. Board Toppers 6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities 7. As per the admissions 2020, The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and the result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and university Life.

Vivek, with compartment in Maths it is not possible to get admission in B.Tech. You can take admission in a lower course like Diploma and after clearing your compartment exam, submit the result by Aug.10, 2017 and get program transferred to B.Tech.
