Dear Joy, You can get admission on basis of your 10+2 score, however it is advised to write LPU NEST to avail generous scholarships. The relaxations in eligibility are:
    1) 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmir Migrants.
    2) 10% to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category), Subject to verification from Selection committee*. The best way is to visit their website and call the toll free numbers. Hope this helps

Yes, you are eligible for this course in LPU as the eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Relaxation:
    1) 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmir Migrants.
    2) 10% to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category), Subject to verification from Selection committee*.
Note: - In case of both only one relaxation is to be given. Another point which I want to mention is that no rounding up in percentage will be considered, so it has to be exact 50%.

Dear Joy, If you have cleared 12th boards and looking for a career in Hotel Industry, you really don't need to invest hefty amount and long years to get into Hotel Industry. Few years back my brother who is currently working in Sheraton Group of Hotels, Malaysia, he too had a dilemma of getting 3 years full time degree done in Hotel Mgt. However we got a guidance that such industry demands practical indulgence of candidates and we don't need to spend hefty amount and long years after this. Hence I enrolled him in a 6 months Hotel Mgt. Course and then he did his months Internship in 5 star Hotel. He is in a good Hotel at a good position

Absolutely! Having a humanities background is no barrier to pursuing Fine Arts at Chandigarh University.

The programme welcomes students from all streams, including humanities, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of 50% marks in their 12th exams. Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.

The university values creativity and passion over specific subjects studied in school.
