Hi, In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1.1. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST. Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships. You can give LPUNEST for admission as the eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) OR In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
