Can I get admission in LPU for BTech without taking JEE Mains?

  • Sarvottam, for admission to B.Tech program
    1. You need to have 60% in class 12 with valid LPUNEST score or min.80 marks in JEE Mains.
    2. If you have 90% or more in 12th you are exempted from LPUNEST as well as JEE.
    If you don't have 80 marks in JEE Mains or you didn't give it, apply for LPUNEST for admission.

    Hi, Yes, you can but you have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria I. e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.     As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI.     Candidates seeking admission to LPU BTech course can also apply via LPUNEST. Apart from accepting a valid JEE Main entrance test score, LPU also conducts the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for BTech admission.

     The score of candidates must be equal or above prescribed percentage in JEE for exemption from LPUNEST. For scores below the prescribed percentage, candidates will be required to appear for LPUNEST. Only after qualifying LPUNEST, candidates can get admission to the BTech course.     Yes, LPU has its own entrance exam named LPU-NEST for the admissions. So you must have to give LPU-NEST for the admissions.
