Can I get admission in LPU for MBA as I have got 48% in my graduation? Is it possible?

With 48% in graduation it is not possible as the basic eligibility is 55%. However there is 10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons I. e. A/A+ category as per LPU policy. If you have excellent sports credentials, you can apply for the same, the university committee will sit and decide if a seat can be offered to you. Hope this helps DVD.

Hi Ayushman, Sorry to bring this out but with 48% marks in graduation you will not be eligible to get admission in MBA at Mittal School of business, LPU. Over the period of years Lovely Professional University has really raised the standard of their intake in MBA. Minimum 55% aggregate marks are required in graduation. However there is 10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons I. e. A/A+ category as per LPU policy. If you have excellent sports credentials, you can apply for the same, the university committee will sit and decide if a seat can be offered to you. LPU is a university that provides quality education. Hence, it is definitely worth pursuing MBA from the university. In order to take admission in MBA the eligibility criteria needs to be MET in LPU. The eligibility is 55% + LPUNEST/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT+ Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmir Migrants. Let me share with you interview competencies that are tested as part of MBA interviews in LPU. The various parameters includes Fluency, Grammatical errors, elaboration of the concept, Clarity in thought process, Confidence, General Awareness, and leadership quality. In LPU when you sit for an MBA interview there are 2 panelists one from the core domain and the other from soft skills to assess you on speaking skills. Both the panelists will be rating you on the competency and a score will be generated. On the basis of the cut-off score only you will be considered as qualified or not. Hence, whatever is the specialisation that you are wishing to opt for the faculty of the core domain will be checking you on that and keeping in mind the above competencies stated. And Yes, you will be checked about the General Awareness so you need to keep yourself up to date. You will be asked questions related to your graduation degree and what made you go for MBA as well.
