Sorry but no, LPU's minimum requirement for admission is 60% marks in class 12th for B.Tech, which you are not able to meet. So, you cannot get admission here in LPU.

Honestly, to get into B.Tech CSE at LPU through the regular route, you must have scored 60% in your 12th-grade boards (PCM + English). Even if you crush the LPUNEST or JEE/ CUET, they won't overlook that minimum board requirement (only small relaxations exist, like for NE states, those in defence, etc.)

    But don't stress—you've got options:

    • B.Sc. in Computer Science or IT: You can get into these courses with just 50% in your boards plus LPUNEST or CUET. They're not only easier to get into but also have decent placement stats .

    • Diploma? Lateral Entry into B.Tech CSE: If you've done a 3-year engineering Diploma (or 2 years post-1

No, if the marks are less than 60% in class 12, it is impossible to get admission in LPU in B.Tech CSE Course .

To get admission in LPU in CSE one has to fulfill the eligibility requirements.

The LPUNEST Exam offers convenient choices to candidates Online Remotely proctored from home (recommended by the university ) or Test centre based Options.

    Hello there,

At Lovely Professional University (LPU), the eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) typically require a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th standard (Boards) in relevant subjects. However, if your boards percentage is less than 60%, you still have a few options to explore.

LPU conducts its own entrance exam, LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test), and this could be an alternative route for admission. If you perform well in LPUNEST, the university may offer you admission based on your entrance exam score, even if your 12th percentage is bel
