Can I get admission in LPU on the basis of class 12th marks or UPSEE without giving LPU-NEST?

I may get 85+ in class 12th and 224 marks in UPSEE examination (rank not declared yet). I want to take admission in LPU but I missed the last date of LPU-NEST. Can I get admission on the basis of 12th marks?

Dear Rahul, The only way to get into B.Tech at LPU without LPU NEST / JEEMAINS is to score above 90% in 10+2 with maths, physics and English. But you can still apply for LPU NEST and take provisional admission online. Due to Covid related lockdown, LPU has turned the whole process online and the even the test is being proctored remotely. So it is perfectly safe for you. Engineering is flagship programme of LPU, last year more than 700 companies have visited the campus for recruitment and placed thousands of students. From average package of 5.4 LPA to the highest package of 42 LPA, it has broken all the records possible in placements.

    Hello,
It depends upon the course you are looking for. LPU runs around 200+ courses. Each and every course has different eligibility. I recently saw the post by LPU on social media which states that LPU has taken some measures during this pandemic for students. They have given relaxation in eligibility and also removed entrance test in few courses. There are certain courses, in which there is no entrance exam and admission is on the basis of your scores in previous qualification and for certain courses such as engineering, there is an entrance exam which is mandatory to qualify. LPU doesn't consider UPSE scores. For entrance you have to

    Hi
LPU carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a zenith. B.Tech requires pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST^. ^LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. You can get a scholarship on the basis of your XIIth class. You can still book your LPU NEST before 30th June for best scholarships. First you can apply for admission and then book your LPU NEST the syllabus and paper pattern is given on

Yes, you can get admission in LPU on the basis of +2 but for that you have to be eligible. On inquiring, I came to know that LPU floats more than 250 programmes with differential eligibility norms and fee structure. The programmes of Engineering have the eligibility as 60 % whereas for commerce the eligibility is 50%, so as per your mentioned percentage, you are eligible depending upon your previous stream. In addition to this, LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students on the following:
    1. On the basis of marks in previous class
    2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarshi

Yes, definitely if you are fulfilling the eligibility criteria of your desired programme. In the situation of Covid-19, Lovely Professional University has relaxed their eligibility norms. For majority of the programmes LPU NEST is not a mandate. There are still chances that you can apply for LPU NEST exam in case you would like to apply for. LPU is a well renowned private university in India. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition's and accreditation's down the lane and mark itself amongst the fe

  • Rahul,
If you have 90% or more in 12th or have 80 marks in JEE mains, you can get direct admission in B.Tech. Otherwise, you need to appear for LPUNEST.
You can apply for admission and appear for LPUNEST till May 31, 2017.

Hi.

Dont worry you have so much time to score good marks.

follow some strategy

  • Organic Chemistry: Focus on all the name reactions and their mechanisms. Write them down repeatedly until you remember them perfectly.
  • Physical Chemistry: Similar to physics, create a master list of all formulas from chapters like Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, and Electrochemistry. Practice applying these formulas to textbook problems.
  • Inorganic Chemistry: Read the textbook thoroughly for this part, focusing on trends and important points (e.g., p-block elements).
