Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral entry is 60% in Diploma (Engineering- any stream) 3 years. After class 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non- medical)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent + LPU NEST. So, you have to qualify an entrance test NEST.

You just need to be in a rank that's it, you will be automatically qualified or if you have good grades in your diploma then according to your scores you'll get good scholarship and you can be admitted easily without any issues. You must be under a certain rank, so that you will be considered as a qualifier as well and yes you can get admission in LPU without any test. In this case, you can't be availed with scholarship.

Yes, if you are having more than 60% in +2, then you can directly apply for any course of your choice, but scholarship may not be applicable.

Yes, for this, you should have to pass your Diploma with a minimum of 50% aggregate. If it's true for you then no need to give any test I.e. LPU-NEST and you can directly take admission in LPU.
