Can I get admission in LPU without appearing for LPU NEST and JEE Mains exam?

The only way to get into B.Tech at LPU without LPU NEST / JEEMAINS is to score above 90% in 10+2 with maths, physics and English. But you can still apply for LPU NEST and take provisional admission online. Due to Covid related lockdown, LPU has turned the whole process online and the even the test is being proctored remotely. So it is perfectly safe for you. Engineering is flagship programme of LPU, last year more than 700 companies have visited the campus for recruitment and placed thousands of students. From average package of 5.4 LPA to the highest package of 42 LPA, it has broken all the records possible in placements.

Yes, you can get admission on the basis of your 12 marks and you will get a scholarship on the basis of 12 marks. Scholarship upto 50% om semester fees.

As per your question it is not clear that in which course you want to take admission. So I am giving the answer irrespective of any course. So basically the admission criterion for getting admission in lpu is 55% in respective boards. Lpu also take admission on the basis of LPU NEST score JEE Main percentile. On this basis of LPU NEST the student gets an advantage of scholarship on the tuition fees. Hope your query is clear. Thank you.

You 'll gone get admission on the basis of JEE Mains if you got 80 percentile in your JEE Mains exam then you can take direct admission in B.Tech CSE, if not then you can appear in university's entrance test called LPU NEST. Let me tell you Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech here in LPU in previous qualified exam you need to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST.

Hi Akash Aggarwal It depends upon the programme in which you are taking admission. If you are going for B.Tech or any type 1 programme then LPU NEST is must to qualify. For Type 2 programmes like BBA do not need to qualify LPU NEST but minimum percentage requirement is there. I hope it helps!

Hi. There is no way to get admission without qualifying test. Either you have to qualify LPU NEST or JEE Mains. Hello, In LPU you can only take admission as per the eligibility requirement of the programme.

It entirely depends upon the programme you are seeking admission in as the eligibility criteria is programme specific. If the eligibility for particular programme is determined by LPU NEST or JEE (Mains) qualification than passing the exam is requisite. Moreover there are various programmes in LPU where you can take direct admission e. g BBA BCA B.Com B.A. Etc. Whereas for other programs qualifying LPU NEST is prime requisite.

Hi, for B.Tech LPU NEST is mandatory. In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first.
