Can I get admission in M.Tech or Ph.D after pursuing engineering through distance learning from a UGC recognized university?

In the eligibility criteria for appearing in GATE, the website shows all regular courses of engineering along with AMIE and AMICE both of two are distance degree but from engineering societies but they did not mention anything about fierce learning program. GATE is the main exam to get admission in
