As per the eligibility criteria, aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the M.Tech course. The university considers the eligibility and GATE score for providing admission.

Aspirants who have not qualified GATE can appear for SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. Eligibility of candidates are evaluate during document verification. In case an aspirant is unable to fulfill the requirements, his or her admission stands cancelled.

Yes, SRM accepts admission in M.Tech without GATE entrance examination, however, instead of GATE, one needs to appear in the SRMJEE (PG) examination for pursuing M.Tech in SRM Kattankulathur and TANCET or SRMJEE (PG) examination for SRM Ramapuram. You can choose between both the examination, depending upon your choice of campus and exam.

Candidates must have scored atleast 50 percent aggregate in their bachelor's degree with mathematics and physics as compulsary subjects.

Admissions are accepted through online mode only.

To know more about the institute, candidates can refer to the official website of the institute or shiksha.
