Can I get admission in marine engineering with less than 60% in PCM?

I've got 59% marks in PCM but got an overall of 63% in class 12th and am pursuing B.Tech in mechanical engineering currently.

I can say that marks has nothing to do with your interest. If you are truly interested in marine engineering then choose a better college and pursue course in that college. If you had appeared for any engineering college entrance tests, then think of that.
    Thank you.

You are eligible to seek admission in Marine Engineering by appearing in CET conducted by Indian Maritimes University, because eligibilty criteria is Pass 10+2/ equivalent examination (PCM: 60% & English: 50%). There is 5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST candidates. You can also do one year Diploma in Marine Engineering after B.Tech Mechanical Engineering to become Marine Engineer.
