Yes you can get admission for mechanical engineering at mit-wpu. Usually it would be in 2nd or 3rd merit list of the university. You may try but your percentile and accordingly rank would be quite below par so chances are quite low.

You can get MIT-WPU by counselling but you will get only lower branches like civil, polymer, electrical by counselling on your rank. rest getting into any higher branch like use,mech, Ece is not at all possible. All the Best
