NIT calicut is a government institute so there is a reservation criteria is also here. No matter what u scores in Jee main if u belong to category like SC/ST or ph u will get admission at a very low rank and also there is 50% seat is reserve for home state student as if u given your 12th exam from k

Sir, thank you. I have got 86.6% in 12th cbse and I am belong to Obc (MU). I have attended the JEE exam but I am not satisfied with my performance in the exam.

May be if u got good score in your 12th board examination, because the selection in college is based on the rank which I on the basis of 60% of jee and 40% of your board
