Can I get admission in NIT or IIT for B.Tech through lateral entry?

NIT or IIT don't have B. Tech through the lateral entry you can give exam for entry in 4-year engineering, there are other good colleges like DTU and Thapar which provides lateral entry.

Dear Aspirant, B. Tech. Lateral Entry Program is an innovative program, in which students who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. degree or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks can take admission and get B.Tech degree in just three years. I do not have any idea about NI

You can't get admission to lateral entry in the B.Tech course of NIT or IIT because they only take students from the JEE Mains. But I would personally tell you if you have done Diploma+B.Tech you will have a good job opportunity in future because you will have both practical and theoretical knowledg

No, there are no lateral entry admissions in IITs and NITs in India. You can get admission into undergraduate programmes in the first year by clearing JEE Mains and Advanced exam only.
