Can I get admission in NIT or IIT to pursue B.Tech?

I scored 80 marks in JEE Mains. I am eligible to appear in JEE Advanced exam.

Admission to NITs and IITs is based on the performance of candidates in the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and Advanced respectively. If your marks meet the cutoff marks, you are eligible to write the advance exams. And if you score well in advance you can get into IITS.

You can get admissions in NITs & IITs by qualifying JEE Main examinations. You can check the latest cutoff of JEE Main exam for your eligibility to the various colleges.

Indian Citizen can apply. NRIs, PIOs, OCIs & Foreign national candidates can also apply. Have to score at least 75% marks in class 12th Board exams. As you have scored 80 marks, so your admission will depend upon your category.
