Can I get admission in NIT with 150 marks in JEE Mains? If yes, which branch can I get? I belong to OBC category & have home state quota.

Till last year, the ranks depended on both JEE Mains mark and board marks, so with that I would say 150 marks were quite enough to get NIT Trichy if you had board marks above 485, but this year, as the board marks are not being considered, the chances would be reduced, but still you have chances to

You can get admission depending upon following factors: 1. If the NIT is among top 3 your chances of getting decent branches are negligible. 2. Using home state plus OBC can get you a decent branch in other NITs.
