Those who have completed three years recognised polytechnic diploma and have cleared state level lateral entry admission test can seek admission through lateral entry scheme to third semester of a B Tech programme.

For eligibility into a particular branch for admission by lateral entry, AICTE has prescribed certain rules. These are quite exhaustive and available on website. Else some Institutions accept diploma as equivalent to 12th and in this way you can get admission to 1st year of any branc
