Can I get admission in SGSITS, Indore for mechanical engineering with 55 marks in JEE Mains along with 82.4 in class 12th (MP Board)?

I don't think so you will be getting SGSITS. Since, your rank is beyond 1.5 lakhs and you too want a core branch. Biomedical seats are fulfilled under 1 lakh. All the best.

You should have mentioned your rank but I think you may get admission into SGSITS. Try to check out last year's opening and closing rank for your category.

No, for General, even with home state quota, you need at least a ranking of 31 thousand for getting mechanical and being on a safer side in JoSAA counselling. Your rank is though too far and I suggest you to look for private colleges over GSITS. Best of luck.
