Can I get admission in Thapar University 2022 for CSE branch?

If we talk about 2021 admissions, cutoff for CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) was above 98% but cutoff for COE (Computer Engineering) was above 96%. COE is almost equivalent to CSE with some of the subjects being different and it is the Flagship Branch of Thapar. At the time of placements CSE and COE have equal opportunities so I suggest if you are getting COE you should go for it.

No, you can not get admission on the basis of qualifying exam marks. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology admission 2022 is both entrance and merit-based. The institute will admit candidates to its B.Tech programme on the basis of JEE Main 2022 scores. Examination for the current year is scheduled in two sessions, i.e. , June 20-29 and July 21-30. In addition to the JEE Main 2022 exam, interested candidates are also required to apply for admission on the official website. Admission to other UG programs such as B.A. B.Sc. and BBA is primarily entrance-based. Thapar University application form last date 2022 is June 15 for all the UG courses. Application deadline for BE/B.Tech courses is extended till July 11. Thapar University B.Tech cutoff is the minimum percentile required to get admission to the programme. TIET releases separate percentiles for candidates applying within Punjab, Outside Punjab, with Class 12 scores, and with JEE Main scores. Hope it helps.
