No, you cannot get admission in Thapar University for CSE.

No chance. My friend, try any other private college or government college or if you want to study in Thapar, then drop a year work hard and score atleast more than 180 marks.

Honestly, for BTech CSE I'd pick Thapar. It has a stronger engineering reputation, better placement opportunities and a stronger peer group overall. Chitkara is decent too, but if you have both options, I'd go with Thapar.
