No you cannot get admission in direct 2nd year in diploma in any colleges. You must have to complete 1st year, then only you can go for 2nd year.

But Sir, I am going to Thakur Polytechnic. He said you passed 12th (science) with 61% so you can get easy admission directly in the 2nd year and also VJTI's last year 2016-2017 admission is on the this! Thakur Polytechhnic is a private & VJTI is a government college.
