The cut-off rank for DAIICT in 2015 was 14k, and in 2016 was around 11k so, your admission in DAIICT is highly improbable.

No, you cannot. It might sound bitter but it is the truth. Since you are speaking about the general category, the going gets tougher. Last year that is in 2016 the cutoff rank was around 12,000 from the general category that too through a waiting list.
