    Hello there,

With a score of 53 marks in JEE Mains, it may be challenging to meet the minimum eligibility criteria for direct admission into B.Tech programs at Lovely Professional University (LPU), as many programs require a minimum of 80 percentile in JEE Mains for eligibility and scholarship purposes .

However, LPU offers alternative pathways for admission. You can consider appearing for the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test), which is an internal entrance exam conducted by the university. Performing well in LPUNEST can make you eligible for admission and may also qualify you for scholarship

Let me clarify you that your JEE score is not going to help you in seeking admission in lateral entry course as the eligibility is the eligibility requirement is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3 years after 10th or 2 yrs after 10+2(Non Medical)) or B.Sc.(Non-Medical) or B.Sc.(Computer Science) or equivalent. So only by scoring 60%, you may plan your admission.
If you are planning to take admission in first year of B.Tech then JEE score can work but then also if your score is more than 90 percentile, otherwise this score will neither work anywhere.
If you are eligible , I can advise you to appear in LPUNEST
