Can I get admission in this college if I get more than 90% in board exams? My rank in JEE is low i.e. beyond 200000.

BIT, Mesra only considers JEE Main rank for the admissions. I am sorry, but with this rank, you can't get a seat in B.E. in computer science. -
Hey there,
This totally depends on the counselling process and the seat availability. But it would be hard for you to get admission in the college as in the past years in CSE, we have not seen any rank lower than 112000 (for the reserved category that to from own state). For other branches, you can try. But, if you want to study CSE, I would recommend you to drop a year and prepare. -
Hi Sadhna,
From this year, boards marks are not taken into consideration for calculating rank, so you need to score really well in JEE Mains to get BIT-Mesra. So, any score above 160 will land you in BIT-Mesra, Ranchi.
