For getting into IIT architecture, weather in IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee, you will have to clear the architecture aptitude test conducted by the IIT to get a seat there.

For B.Arch admission to IITs, one must clear JEE Mains B.Tech exam i.e Paper-1, then clear JEE Advanced B.Tech exam that is for admission to B.Tech in IIT, and then clear an AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) conducted by IITs. IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur provide Architecture degree. IITs are not as hype in B.Arch as in B.Tech, instead spans specially SPA at Delhi, and other local and state colleges specially dedicated to Architecture are good options for same.
