  • No, VIT does not accept JEE Main score to grant admission to its BTech programme. As per the VIT Vellore BTech admission process, candidates must appear and qualify for VITEEE exam with a valid score. This is the only entrance exam valid for admission to a full-time BTech course at VIT.

    Unlike many other universities, VIT does not rely on JEE Main scores for admission. They have their own entrance exam called VITEEE which they use as the basis for admission every year. However, if you did take JEE Main don't worry, your efforts won't go to waste. VIT understands the importance of JEE Main scores and gives weightage to those who score well in the exam. And exciting news, VIT has recently announced that it will accept JEE Main and SAT scores for B.Tech admissions!
