To get a admission to B.Tech at a government college with 157620 rank in JEE Mains is very hard because your rank is too high and you belong to General category. To get admission in B.Tech government college through JEE Mains your rank should be below 50000 for a general EWS student. So, you can try other private colleges where they take admission through JEE Mains.

With a JEE Main rank of 157620 as a GEN-EWS candidate, it's unlikely you will get admission to a top-tier National Institute of Technology (NIT) or Institute of Technology, Indian (IIT). However, there's a possibility of securing admission to lower-ranked NITs, GFTIs, or potentially some IIITs.Your best chance will be in less competitive branches or state-level counselling for government college.
