The colleges may also take extra rounds like the GD or PI in such cases.</p><p>Since &lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/environmental-engineering-chp"&gt;Environmental Engineering&lt;/a&gt; is a specialised field within &lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/civil-engineering-chp"&gt;Civil Engineering&lt;/a&gt;, it is mostly offered at the PG level, with colleges accepting GATE scores for admission.
