Society's Institute of Management Studies and Research (KLESIMSR)*, Hubli, Karnataka, usually provides direct admission to students for MBA/PGDM through many national-level entrance tests, which comprise the KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test). And you can still apply to the KLESIMSR campus at the national and/or state level entrance test too, like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT*, or if you don't want to take KMAT.

# KLESIMSR Admission Process for MBA/PGDM:

1. Entrance Exam:
-I. KMAT: Note that for admission to the MBA, scores of KMAT alone will be considered. In case you have not appeared for KMAT, scores of CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT will be taken into consideration.
2. Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with 50% marks. (45% for reserved categories)
3. Shortlisting Process:
The selection round at the second stage is based on the entrance exam score, which may be KMAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, etc.
4. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI): In case a student gets shortlisted, he or she gets an invitation for GD and PI, * which helps in ascertaining the communication ability and quality of leadership and also tests out the problem-solving skills for the candidate.
5. Final Short Listing will be done on basis of entrance test score / performance in round of GD/PI and academic records

KMAT is not required. You may take admission through these colleges even without KMAT once you have valid score which you acquired from other entrance tests, including CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT
