Can I get admission to MBBS with 550 marks in NEET?

<p>So with marks around 550s in the NEET, one can expect some slight possibilities regarding admission into the MBBS program. Here are a few things on which conditions of admission depend:&nbsp;</p><p>Category: The category you belong to (General, OBC, SC/ST etc.) matters a lot in deciding the cut-off for admission. For example, a score of 550 might be good enough for candidates belonging to made categories but for general candidates, it would mean much higher.</p><p>State versus All India Quota: Cut off for a government college usually is lower under state quota than in the All India quota. In some states, it may be possible to get admission under these states as compared to All India seats where you still need to score higher.</p><p>College Preference: Some topmost government medical colleges have a fairly high cut-off (600+). If you are looking for a government or a private college in states with less competitiveness, you could do with a score of 550.</p><p>NEET trends: Cut offs change every year to year in consideration of candidates' number in the year, seat availability and exam difficulty. It is always preferable to look at the previous year's NEET cutoff trends for colleges in regard to getting some idea.</p><p>It can generally open the door to admission to private medical colleges or less competitive government colleges, especially in-state quotas.
