KEAM is the preferred mode: KEAM score is considered essential for admission to B.Tech programme by NCERC. Majority if not all the Quota seats in all the government medical and dental colleges are from the KEAM rankings.
- Management Quota might have a requirement: When a student gets an admission in the Management Quota, he can get admission based on marks and any entrance exam other than KEAM but certain colleges still maintain the KEAM score as one of the criteria.
