Admission to LL.B. in Shankarrao Chavan Law College normally requires candidates appearing for MHCET Law, which is the predominant entrance exam for law admissions at the state level. However, candidates can get direct admission to the course under the management quota.

Passing MH CET LAW test is usually considered as eligibility for admission to the LL.B. course at Shankarrao Chavan Law College in Pune. This entrance examination happens to be one of the major criteria for the undergraduate law courses, such as the LL.B., BA LL.B., and BBA LL.B. in Maharashtra since the college has participation in centralized admissions managed by the CET Cell of Maharashtra. Admission is strictly through ranking in MH CET Law and then through a CAP round where candidates get their college placements based on scores and preferences.
